Strautmann introduces the new Hay Edition
For hay-based rations, the cutting quality is a particular challenge for the feed mixer wagon. In Switzerland, where many farms practise hay feeding, the demand for reliable and efficient processing of hay and long-fibred feed is high. Together with the company Agro-Technik Zulliger AG, we have developed a technical solution to improve the cutting performance.
The result is the Hay Edition auger. Each segment of the auger is equipped with a short blade. This increases the cutting effect during the mixing process and the feed is more effectively chopped.
